On Thursday, March 24, Open Buffalo will hold our third annual Sankofa Celebration! Sankofa is an African term which means "in order to move forward we must learn from the past." This annual fundraiser is a time for us to reflect on what we have achieved in the past year, discuss current challenges and build relationships with those who love our city and Western New York.
Open Buffalo is proud to celebrate its eight-year anniversary as a community leader driving systemic change in Western New York. We could not have achieved all that we have without the strength of our relationships with partnering organizations and businesses throughout the region.

The event will welcome hundreds of community leaders and supporters and will offer an exciting sponsorship opportunity. Varying levels of sponsorship will provide pre-event and day-of promotion, digital placement, event tickets, and a presence at the event through tabling (or a virtual alternative).
